Health & Safety
Health & Safety
Health, safety, and compliance are critically important aspects of each and every job we perform. Each
and every member of JREM is fully trained and understands that while on the job, they are fully
responsible for the health and safety of themselves and the people and operations around them. They
are responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory and facility rules and regulations. They are
trained and empowered to stop work, back off, and communicate should any potential health, safety, or
compliance issues arise. Work does not continue until all issues have been resolved. Our approach to
achieving health, safety, and compliance excellence includes:
- Maintaining an Illness and Injury Prevention Plan (IIPP). Our health and safety plans are updated annually or as necessary when conditions change or new tasks are planned. Daily tailgate safety meetings are performed at each work site.
- Preparing an Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) for new tasks. Prior to implementing any significant new tasks or processes, a walk through is performed and an AHA is completed and reviewed with all applicable personnel. Any identified health, safety, or compliance concerns are discussed and resolved before the task is implemented.
- Performing annual medical monitoring and drug testing of each staff member performing field operations.
- Performing ongoing orientation, awareness, and training programs. Providing annual health and safety compliance training, first aid and CPR training, fire extinguisher training, and distributing and discussing lessons learned from other projects and other companies with all staff.
- Providing experienced implementation personnel who recognize and avoid potential issues, know and accept that they are responsible, and mentor the field staff working at their direction.
- All drilling and injection personnel are provided in-house training of all pertinent equipment and procedures prior. They understand the health & safety concerns with the variety of remedial compounds used for ISCO/ISCR projects. Each member is cross-trained to understand the hazards of the other disciplines to add safety awareness to our project sites.
Our approach to health, safety, and compliance has resulted in an excellent safety and compliance record.
Each year since 2018 JREM has secured the coveted Gold Shovel Certification.
Currently we are active in the following databases: Avetta (PICS), ISNetworld, SAM Federal Database, COUPA Subcontractor Portals.
